EasyMovie's Strategic Rebranding and Expansion: From French Markets to Global Knowledge Sharing Leader
EasyMovie came to Web Canopy Studio with a unique set of challenges including international expansion from France to the U.S. market, refocusing the way they talked about their video content platform and a shift in product positioning. While the platform had found popularity with internal enterprise teams who enjoyed the benefits of internally produced video content, EasyMovie had a much broader vision and purpose. The greater mission was to help enterprise companies tap into the vast and often hidden knowledge of their employees through a simple knowledge sharing process.
To launch EasyMovie in the U.S. they knew they needed to go to market with a clear message about how organizations can use their platform to discover and share internal knowledge to enjoy the benefits of knowledge sharing. Their existing website didn’t enlighten prospects to the true benefits of their video content platform and they weren’t converting as many visitors into leads as they aimed for. With their home office based in France, they also needed to implement a multi-language solution for their website to display the correct language on their site based on the browser language of the user.

Refining Messaging and Website Design for Enhanced Buyer Engagement.
To get clear on the best path, the Web Canopy team flew to NYC for a 3-day workshop to create a buyer persona, research the buyer’s journey, and map out an inbound strategy to include buyers at every phase of the flywheel. By getting to know the pains and challenges of their buyers in combination with keyword research, we designed a plan to attract prospects to the EasyMovie website through helpful content. Our teams were able to quickly expand content offerings on their website visitors at the awareness, consideration, and decision-making stages.

Aligning EasyMovie's Marketing Strategy: From Disjointed Efforts to Targeted C-Suite Engagement
When EasyMovie came to Web Canopy Studio, their marketing wasn’t in harmony, and they weren't generating inbound leads. Multiple team members used different email platforms and created their own messages without aligning around a core message. There was no lead nurturing funnel, and the team’s efforts were directed at making noise online to gain awareness, and email campaigns were confined to cold outreach.
EasyMovie ultimately wanted to get the attention of c-suite prospects, another piece of the challenge. With some internal knowledge sharing as the EasyMovie marketing team grew, they discovered that HubSpot would be vital in creating a website that speaks to the core messaging. It would also allow them to generate and automate an inbound lead process. They searched and interviewed certified HubSpot vendors and found they’d be able to accomplish everything they wanted with Web Canopy Studio.
